Titus: Something for Everyone

I introduced my wife to skiing 5 years ago and she’s loved it ever since. Helen took her first few lessons at Plattekill from some excellent instructors. After only a couple of days on skis, was asking me to buy the rentals she was skiing, so we could make it permanent, something that we could share together into the future.

Fast forward to today and she would tell you that the only thing slowing her down is snow. With me being a seriously addicted powder skier, how often is there an opportunity to bring my Bambi-legged beginner along for the chase? The answer is not many!

Mohawk Mountain: Late Start, Hot Laps, No Biggie

The Brownski household has gotten off to a sort of a slow start this ski season. Junior is leading the pack since he’s been working as a liftie again and made it to Plattekill twice. Dangerboy only has two days. I’ve gotten in a day at Greek, three at Plattekill, and now one at Mohawk Mountain in Connecticut.

It’s not just lack of dedication. The industry I work in is very busy during the months of November and December. It’s always challenging for me to find the time for early season skiing. Junior was working on Monday so it was just me and Dangerboy, my 16 year old son.

Indy Pass adds Peek’n Peak

PORTLAND, Ore. (November 29, 2022) – The Indy Pass has added Peek’n Peak Resort in Western New York, Tussey Mountain in Pennsylvania, Catamount Outdoor Family Center in Vermont, and Rangeley Lakes Trail Center in Maine. All of these new resorts will offer unrestricted access for Indy Base Pass holders.
