Maple Ski Ridge is on Mariaville Road 7 miles west of downtown Schenectady NY. The trail map features four lifts, serving 8 trails on 60 acres, with 270 feet of vertical drop. Maple has snowmaking that covers 15 acres and records an average of 60 inches of natural snow each year. Night skiing is available.
Turkey Run is a blue trail that winds down off the ridge, with a long runout through an open meadow before arriving back at the triple chair. Ridge Run has pitch that lasts for 100 feet of vertical, then also has a runout. Ash Dash is a quick drop onto Hickory Way.
The Chute is a short and narrow and not too steep. Hickory Way is a wide cruiser with a small mogul field in the middle. Spruce Run is another wide cruiser that end at the base lodge.
The Bunny Hill and Turtle Tow are classic the bunny hills, perfect for beginners.
Maple Ski Ridge was founded in 1963 by George Mulyca, who passed in 2019. Maple remains a family owned business in it’s fourth generation run by his two daughters.
In 2023, Maple Ski Ridge joined the Indy Pass.
