OKX Weather Center (NYC)

The National Weather Service in Upton NY publishes NWS weather data, forecasts, maps, watches and advisories for the OKX County Warning Area covering the New York metro area. This page is a portal to access that NWS OKX data.

The NWS OKX county warning area includes a handful of lift served ski areas to the north and west of NYC including Mount Peter, Tuxedo Ridge, Thunder Ridge, West Point Ski Slope and Mountain Creek.

In addition many NY skiers pass through the OKX county warning area, traveling to points north, west and east.
