I may be done for the season. Unexpected car costs, plus rising interest rates are putting us in a potential bind next year, for building our house. (We need a short term loan, maybe 9 months to get us from the old house to the new one.) Plus I don't really have a vehicle that I'm confident can handle snow. Maybe I can swing a few days by carpooling. Time will tell.

Sorry to hear. If I make any sat/sun trips with space in car will ping you - what county are you in in NJ? Have been going Taconic route for chargers but there is a charger at 84/87 so I could do 17/187.

Saturday should be day 20 with my daugther. All at Belle or Gore. Projecting the following week first time ever at Mount Snow and then the week after back at Bell. That could be it for us, but I won't take the snow tires off until Gore closes just in case.

Harv I will say that imo other than ground clearance, a Prius in snow tires could still be pretty capable. I imagine with batteries it may be some type of AWD. There are youtube videos of a civic before and after snow tires, which caused me to get snow tires for the Riv.

>15<20. Groundhog days, I don’t keep track. Lab&Song.
1 “early” season midweek day at Gore.
Biggest difference from recent past is the minimal lake effect ❄️ in CNY.
Skiing's been good fast fun so far.
It ain’t over till it’s over.
