Rt on! I gave up sport bikes due to those speeds and, well, surviving getting the absolute shit scared out of me. It was always crazy how slowing down to 90 would feel like you're standing still.

What bike you rollin on?
I'm looking around for an older KLR 650. Their more my speed these days and all the truck trials, snowmobile trails, etc will be in play for me with that.

Heck, you can show up and rent everything needed for $499? That doesn't seem bad for a million dollars worth of fun. I may look into that with a couple of buddies, what a hoot that would be.

I bought a 2020 Kawi ZX6 and put on a race fairing, lithium battery..dropped it to about 380 lbs. Its now stupid fast.

My last bike was a 99 ZX11. I had to go with the big bores as that was the only frame that would come close to fitting me. Bone stock, as you say, stupid fast.

600cc zero to 60 in a little over 3 seconds 167 top end
1100 cc same in about 2.4 190 top end
Although you can get the new supercharged insanity bike with a 240 mph top end
for 10 grand I can race a ferrari...and maybe win.

He's putting out 130hp (?) and weighs less than 400lbs
Sport bikes are an incredible sense of speed and power.

Feels like 100mph on water , can’t beat this for trying to emulate generating your own power (speed) on liquid snow , Hudson river, upstate NY
