Summer Content

Ya can add NY golfing as a summer activity. Lots of great and/or interesting courses in the Empire State. They’re nice places to take pics at too.
RA does raise some good more advanced topics though too.

Heading out at 1pm to do some trout fishing locally.
You see. That’s legit. I occasionally fish but I’m a worm on a hook guy, which isn’t blog worthy. You should take some pics and write about trout fishing

Aaaah, summer content. A few years ago, I had an opportunity to go to the Snow Farm in New Zealand. A tour company had one spot left on their roster. The week would have finished with the Merino Muster 42 km race. The lodging was cheap enough, but the airfare, OMG. Not to mention 36-48 hours to get there.

My friend hooked up playin guitar with a New Zealander. It’s on my bucket list to go there sometime. Looks to be a good place with good folks.

Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame TR (from a baseball fan) would be cool.

Trip reports from that plastic ski area in Connecticut or that Indoor Place in Jersey (Not really NY I guess)

MTB trip reports (North Creek Ski Bowl, Brant lake bike park, etc.). I was thinking about doing the Essex Chain Lakes or an early report on the new Tupper Lake to Lake Placid rail trail. I could write something on that if I get there.

I like reading about golf but struggling to think of unique golf experiences in NY. Maybe sleeping in my van for Bethpage? Playing Bluff Point and that course on the old Plattsburgh Air Force base? If anyone can get on Oak Hill or Shinnecock, I’d read the hell out of that.

St. Regis canoe area is awesome. Did a coo SUP trip with a bike to pick up my car on floodwood pond road last fall.
