Summer Content

I like reading about golf but struggling to think of unique golf experiences in NY. Maybe sleeping in my van for Bethpage? Playing Bluff Point and that course on the old Plattsburgh Air Force base? If anyone can get on Oak Hill or Shinnecock, I’d read the hell out of that.
Pro II has played Bethpage Black in a couple PGA events. Listening to his stories the place sounds like a torture chamber.

I'll be doing this most weekends..not as good as skiing but its a bit faster.

What does the collective think should be on the front page during the off season?
To be clear Broski was asking about the front page.

We'd love to get the content in the forum too. The front page, some might classify that as real work. Especially working with the nightmare editor.

Riding sport bikes is like taking off in an airplane imo
When we went on day trips outside of Milan we’d be doing around 75-80 on the autostrada in the hills southwest in a rental car and bikes would be passing us like we were standing still with the whole laying em on their side thing around corners. Dang crotch rockets.

It’s not NY, but will likely attract some NYers.......I’m on the BOD of this awesome project in Franklin, NH. We need insightful, thoughtful articles written about it, not just clickbait (we have been getting A LOT of those lately).

Going to be a game changer for the region. Highland Mountain Bike Park is just down the road. Lakes Region, WMNF all close by.

The only set limits on the front page are that it has to be northeast, and an activity of interest to skiers.

If you have an idea for a story you'd like to write, PM me.

I'm not so sure about that

Its fast and dangerous..but skiing has so many more facets to it. I needed something a bit crazy to do in summer..so I went back to it. Its not a cheap sport either..gas, tires, and oil..and the track fee.

Its up near Oneonta..New York Safety Track.. very few actual races so its mostly track days for cars and bikes. You just sign up and pay the track fee or get a season pass. I had to buy a bunch of stuff and make the bike track legal. Check out their website. Its a very technical track..all turns and elevation changes. You can hit 145 on the straight.
