In other news, Tuesday was the biggest day for traffic in NYSkiBlog's (14 year) history. 2823 sessions.
Second was in 2013 ago when a website called tinyhouseblog.com posted a link to our HQ page.
I believe that was right around 2800 sessions, so a close second.
Rip’s the fastest skier on the mountain too, so he's got that going for him.

The Directory serves a few different purposes.

First it serves to teach me something. By writing the directory, I learn about something related to NY Skiing.
Second, the content attracts people (through Google and other search engines). The most successful page for attracting Google Traffic is the US Snowfall Map:

It has 15,000 visits from Google since Dec 1.
I wrote about NY Ski Areas to learn about them:
Then, I figured VT was also important so I did that section:
