Magic Conditions

Yeah, I get it. The day I'm referring to had a high of -6F and the chair was having issues, Black wasn't running, etc.
That's the nature of the best there. Red needs a breather, that's for sure. If they can't get the black running next season, they should return it to Stratton.

I want to say it was after the 2019 season. I purchased one of the old black chairs at the time, which still rests proudly in my garage.

The saga to get the "new" Stratton chair up and running has been a mechanical soap-opera ever since.

It was summer of 2018. Here is a picture I took at Stratton Dec, 2018. It is the unfinished top station of the new Snow Bowl HSQ.

It was the Snow Bowl lift at Stratton, so it was removed in 2018 and replaced with a high speed quad. They originally wanted to install it in 2018 but didn't get permits in time. The installation at Magic started in 2019 and continued in 2020. From what has been said recently, they are awaiting several parts to be able to finish the installation.
