Winter Weather 22/23

I wil say, storm driving evening is intense. These last two mid size storms at Belle, one was 45 minutes in nuking snow once you got on 28 and another was the last 15-20 minutes. I was white knuckling it. The second was easier and I didn't lose radar or whatever non camera sensors until the last few minutes. My tactic if there was 0 light and 0 oncoming traffic was to drift left until I hit the rumble strip. Not sure if that is a good one.

I remember that storm because I had to shovel my driveway/sidewalk. We didn't have a snowblower, because as my father said his two sons were all he needed for snow removal. Oneonta had well over 3 feet.

It looks like Mount Snow, Stratton, Bromley, and Magic are the places to be on Wednesday in VT. I'll be at Bromley, I hope they don't groom it all!

Ah I remember blizzard of '93 quite vividly and with great fondness despite being half a lifetime ago.

As I recall they nailed the forecast almost a week in advance. What an epic storm that my wife and I watched safely from with our brand new home.

While winter is waning in March, some of the biggest northeast' snow storms have been in March.

Rochester region is just gonna get scraps from this one but I'll take it

Is this low off of the coast supposed to be pushing in by now?

I don’t know anything about weather, but if it drifts too far off the coast, we get less snow, right?
