The Sand Trap: for Players, Hackers and Duffers

Round #99 ytd in the books on a balmy Friday with the wife of 41 yrs. Packed track and hooked up w a real gentleman single ten year my senior which I’ve gotta say we always meet great peeps on the course.
Wife smack dab even 100, 84 for gramps.
Don’t know if we’ll reach that magic round of 100 but who knows, weather crazy mild in the midwest.

Used to give out something similar to folks for stockin stuffers.
Golfs pretty cheap around CNY to start with.
It’s almost too EZ to grow grass here.
Hardest part is mowing it and knocking down weeds.
 
55 and sunny and nothing to do until early evening and Dundee Golf Club in Dundee, Mi is on the honor system. You put your money in the drop box and cart keys and scorecards are in a basket, so 9 holes of golf for $10 was the thing to do today. Back to skiing next weekend.

Course looks great for not having a whole lot of photosynthesis going on.
Picked up a bunch of great food from our course Christmas Eve.

Supposed to get to low 50s on Thursday with no wind.
Sun should drive it out a bit too.
Was getting more roll in the early season last year than later on as it was a dry spring.
Some folks will get out in CNY (& everywhere) on whatever's open.
