I only made it to Gore once this year (so far?). It was 2:40ish Sunday afternoon, I was skiing in the Bowl and I promised my wife I'd be home by 7. Echo was closed for racing still, at 2:40 in the afternoon. I knew that if I did the full journey of Hudson Chair -> BR Quad -> North Quad I'd never make it in time.
So screw it, I ducked the rope on Echo and went Mach 3 past the few people still racing on skier's right. Some coach gave me a dirty look but fuck em', it's 2:45 on a Sunday, people need to get where they are going and you've jammed your racing into everyone's life. I'm not saying that Echo should be fair game after 2:30 PM, but I'm not NOT saying it.
