The weight of lead acid helps with traction. I don’t know how the cold effects those batteries but it’s something to consider. I have two rigs, one is a flatbed and one is a dumper. I bring them into a garage that is above freezing in the Winter. They live outside the rest of the year.

WTF, it's the 21st century. My grandfather in Warrensburg brought the car batter into the house back in the 30s.
 
Somewhere in that vid I thought I saw 58 mph. Maybe it was kph? ?

Am I really going to go... how fast?

You guys shouldn't worry, I'm not an early adapter. I do want SOMETHING alternative. Solar hot water or whatever. Gene backup. Maybe an electric car. Something.
