Three feet, three hours, three runs. Tough break for Magic, not their fault. Glad I left at noon and didn't bother waiting to see what happened, as they were not able to get power back up and running before close.
It has been a long time since I've been in a legit three feet of untracked fresh! But I probably would have had a better day overall if I gone elsewhere. But the two day total was enticing despite the crowds and risk of power issues (Magic was upfront with potential issues in their morning report).
Snow in New England is really bizarre. Only two inches where I live in central NH. But higher elevation in south western NH got as much as three feet (less than 60 miles as the crow flies).
Driving to Magic, really not much along the way. Even in VT, Springfield got very little, a bit more in Chester, then a gradual increase all the way up route 11 to Magic. No problem for folks in the valleys. But folks on higher elevation mountain roads got it bad.
