Honda CRV Hybrid 2023: the Hill and Highway Penalty

To Belle from NJ... 30 mpg
From Belle to NJ 37 mpg

On the way in, I'm at 33 when I get to Pine Hill, under 30 by the time I pull into Overlook.

On the way home, when I get on 87, I'm at 50 or more, by the time I actually get home, 37.
 
Just heard that tesla is planning to lay off 10% of its workforce

The times I drove with discipline and studded snow tires, I got 30+ mpg with my Alltrack. No box tho, traveling solo.
 
Does storing an EV in the cold reduce the life span of a battery?

I know it reduces range for that charge, but I wonder about long term effects on the battery.

May be some heresy in my future:

That's a crazy amount of cash for a SxS!

Stick with an ice --- you can get one for under 20K

And you don't have to worry about how you'll store it
