If the signage isn't big and obvious, it's a revenue grab. Gardiner in the 'Gunks and Keen in the ADK have done a much more transparent job of managing parking.The Town of Hunter just tows folks’ cars.

Good god, if you want to point out why the Catskills are still a poverty ridden and ignored region right next to one of the wealthiest metro regions in the world, there you go. The gene pool has been so depleted, the stupid and bitter are now in charge, feeding off the tourists in incredibly short sighted ways. I'm sure all of those people towed are going to return to Hunter in the future to fatten their sales tax coffers, right? I agree with the towing - there's signs everywhere. People parking on the mountain road is dangerous. I know people that work on the rescue squad and they hate the parking issues. They've had to block the entire road with their rigs because people park on the horseshoe curve for a rescue. Cars stick out and block traffic - including emergency vehicles. People walking triple file.
It's not sustainable - F those people - read signs and STFU... I'm not taking responsibility for their stupidity.
