I seriously thought about Vermont to relocate.... but my mother was born and raised in Warrensburgh, NY. Her grandparents were caretakers at Camp Pine Knot on Racquette Lake..... I've got Adirondack roots. No disrespect to VT. A beautiful place.

If we were to head north of CNY no doubt we'd end up in the ADK. Most likely Speculator area. Close to great friends and family, not to mention riding sleds and hunting camps. Hmmmm

Excellent point. Year round as well, incredible ice fishing to be had in that area.

So I've driven both mountain roads this week(Platt Clove and 23A)
23A literally has no parking signs every 30 damn feet.... uuuug...
Platt Clove has big signs in both directions(see the picture posted), saying no parking for 1.5 miles which is the length of the road. Also has scattered no parking signs in areas rescue vehicles would need to park in.
People need to be towed. In fact when I was driving back today - someone was getting towed. There's really no excuse except entitlement and stupidity.
