Who wants to take some runs with me tomorrow (Thursday)? I will be arriving a little before 1pm. I have to work in the AM.

So we end the day at a semilocal drinking establishment and this guy walks in saying how bad Gore was today and nothing was open and blah blah blah and my daughter and I looked at him and asked if he skied the same mountain. If you are looking for groomers on a 30+ inch day your nuts. We had a Bear of a time! Not Bear but this was taken early afternoon on the lower mountain. We used a tape measure and got between 29 and 30 inches I love my home mountain even if it was only Bear+ today. Top 5 day!

Honestly, 30 inches of heavy, wet “powder” can be un-fun for many, maybe even most, people. Even good, light powder isn’t for everyone. The best people are those who struggle in it and still have a blast. Those are my kind of peeps!

Seems to be yet another episode of getting gored this morning. Gondola not running and no signs of life at High Peaks either (based on webcam).
