Not necessarily, IMHO 1000 feet of continuous steep suffices. Lapping JHole top to bottom killed my back. You could say that about every ski area that’s not in Summit County

The DEC commish signed the "Final” on April 28th 2023.It used to be here but the link doesn’t work anymore: https://orda.org/belleayre-draft-2022-umpa/

I do have a copy of it, it’s about 70 megs. Perhaps Harvey would want to host it somewhere so people can see it?
Appears to be hot off the presses. Basil Seggos (DEC) just signed it < a week ago.If this is truly up to date, it looks like the Highmount connection is still very much a possibility, along with two new lifts to the west of Deer Run?
This place looks nice. It's about to get FREAKY up in here.
Response to questions about Highmount:If this is truly up to date, it looks like the Highmount connection is still very much a possibility, along with two new lifts to the west of Deer Run?
That bridge is kinky. They can’t make that thing a straight shot? It's about to get FREAKY up in here.
Just start on the right side of the bridge, point em straight to the left side exit. That bridge is kinky. They can’t make that thing a straight shot?
How does that help beginners coming from the East side trails? Seems easier to ski behind Overlook. That bridge is kinky. They can’t make that thing a straight shot?
