Just saw the NWS in Binghamton confirmed a tornado in Broome County...in February.
Oy.
Oy.
We’ve been going to Gore in late season when the CNY bumps are closed.Wow!!
Although I bet they’d save a TON of money on operations if they just cut out a month & a half.
And they probably made most of the lift ticket money they were gonna make off of season pass holders anyway
Total shit season. Yeah, I’ll ski more, ...
Twas a strong front that came thru.Just saw the NWS in Binghamton confirmed a tornado in Broome County...in February.

That storm has been coming and going in the GFS 240 for 3 or 4 days. Looks like it's gone from the latest run, but I'm thinking. Not ready to give up. I’m seeing some signs of a big storm around March 12-13… probably in the 18-30 inch range in the Catskills. We’re gonna need some good karma and positive vibes to bring it home though.
I'm thinking, as a true gut punch, a big dump after the mountains close.now the voice of reason/reality...
no model is showing any appreciable snow ...
what they are showing is a shit ton of rain on and off all week long...
will the mountains have more snow this year...probably /maybe..but will it be on bare ground?
