Winter Weather 23/24

Just spoke to my sister who is skiing today at Stratton. "They are blowing snow all over the mountain to fill in the bare spots".
Magic is doing that too.

"There will be active snowmaking on trails until about 11am so use caution around snowguns. Any additional all-natural trails will have to wait until surfaces soften up this weekend."

Glad I'm going to Salt Lake City next week on the way back from a work trip to SoCal. Normally when I do this it means an east coast dump but not this time. The fat lady does indeed seem to be singing and I think hitting 30 days this season for me is in jeopardy. At 18 now. Should have at least 22 when I get back.

Hope there's enough left when I get back for a few Rumor days at Gore and to use up my 5 IKON days at Killington at least...maybe just 5 days of lapping Superstar.....

This is after several days in the upper 50's/mid-60's up here.

Thunder Ridge, Holiday Mountain, Windham, and Mohawk all blew snow last night. I think Plattekill as well.
Skied Shawnee (PA) today and was surprised (and happy) that they blew snow as well last night. Glad that a number of hills are trying to keep the season going! Side note: Shawnee, at least today, had most trails open and good coverage. Let's see what the next week brings.....
