Not ready to give up. I’m seeing some signs of a big storm around March 12-13… probably in the 18-30 inch range in the Catskills. We’re gonna need some good karma and positive vibes to bring it home though.

Where are these signs? Nothing on the GFS 240 runs, and I mean nothing. Right now it looks sunny and warm.

I'm thinking, as a true gut punch, a big dump after the mountains close.

If the bumps can limp thru this week it does look more winterlike later on,... if that means anything at all.
Maybe folks should just blow a fuckton of snow on their north facing darkest shaded trail(s) (instead of trying to. keep trail counts up) for later in the season so the hardcores can have at it.
Gore’s Wild Air currently has piles of manmade snow but faces ESE...
