2" - 4" predicted Thursday night, Saranac Lake and LP. Slightly more for Paul Smiths. Likely not skiing before Monday.

To avoid Jason's scorn I won't post the image, but GFS 240 has something next weekend.

Not too many 10 day periods left before we are spring skiing.

It was on the 0z (I don't THINK it was the 6z) and it is gone, at this moment. Which is why Jason scorns it.

If it comes and goes another 2 times, I'll start to make plans. If it doesn't reappear once by Friday morning, I'll ski this weekend no matter what.

Unusual season for decision making for me. The less I ski (or more accurately the more I work) the better shape I'll be in on 12/31/24.

Today feels like wind-hold city at most area mountains. There's quite the gale blowing.
