Winter Weather 23/24

Some folks wrote a letter to the editor regarding the “competition trails" being nice but the others needing some loving too.
Might be paywalled...
No paywall. I know several of those who signed, and they're spot on. ORDA, are you listening or you DGAF? Van Ho received the same amount of natural snow this winter as neighboring Cascade XC. Somehow, with just a snowmobile, Cascade buffed their trails into great shape while the Ho for whatever reason neglected the legacy trails. All sorts of memorabilia from 2 Olympics that could decorate the new lodge, but there's just one stinkin' photo from 1932.

Van Ho has lost its soul.

Figured ya’d be interested in the article.

Pratt ain’t in charge anymore. He knew how ❄️ was made & LP history.
The new kid knows icy/gravity effects & how to put on wintertime shows.

If it wasn’t such a quick hitter it coulda been a lot more.
I’m just waitin for some backside lake effect. At least it’s cool again after 60s over the weekend.
Folks didn’t need another r**n storm.
