Winter Weather 23/24

Cold front reached Massanutten by late afternoon. Snowmaking started up around 4pm on trails not yet open and guns were on all over the mountain by 6pm. Only areas without any snowmaking on were the teaching area next to the ski school building and Southern Comfort (long green). Could be over a week of ideal snowmaking conditions. I'm back at Mnut on Jan. 25. Be cool if the mountain was 100% open by then, including the new double-black under the new detachable quad to the peak.

Also, I don't think inches of snow is a good metric if they all melt away the next day. Inches of snow that stick around for a month would be a better indicator. Just sayin'. ;-)

This is exactly what I was saying, so check your own math.

Timbly truly you are right, but a season with 46 inches by Jan 14 almost has to be better then an entire season with that total.

Really I was commenting on the comedy of the "sky is falling" storyline.
