Winter Weather 22/23

Yeah, in a couple of years.

Gotta find a good spot (and now I have to take different things into account… things like school districts).
Schools really change the equation. Also, make sure you don't have to play water roulette.

Speak for yourself.
I always do. I’m sorry that saying the word “consider” triggered you.

Better pack some water as well, because there isn't any out there.

Amazing that I said, “west” and you guys assumed the exact location that I was talking about. PNW still gets a pretty good amount of rain as far as I can tell.

Yeah, I think it’s really time for passionate skiers me to consider how much longer they I want to stay in the east.
FIFY

I'm staying in NY (well moving there) because I like the woods, and the trees, and the water. It's comfortable I guess.

I figure moving to the mountains, even with decreasing winters, will get me many more days, and more good days too. Cork skis 120-150 and he's got a job. I should be able get 100 as a retired guy.

Plus there is nordic, hiking and of course putzing on our property.

I'll let you know in 10 years if it was the right call.

Amazingly, the West includes 11 states and all of them are under some sort of drought conditions, including east of the Cascades in both Washington and Oregon.
