Every place up north has the possibility of tree skiing and that’s why I’m leaning towards going north.

If north means NoVT, I'd agree.

I think Gore will have less then it did in the trees in the last storm. It's pretty thin in those woods, and there should be some snowmaking blowing in there:

Thats the balance I am trying to strike, I don't see myself getting up to Jay or Stowe and I am just not confident in the snowpack anywhere south of that. Even the BC stuff in the notch was starting thin based on some video's I've seen from friends up that way over the past two weeks. If there will be 12" in the Cats on top of nothing I would rather just save on fuel and lodging, I've got a rock board.

6" surprise at platt yesterday. Should be a classic east coast skiing weekend with pockets of wind-scoured ice, hardpack, pow, and deeper drifts all at the same time

Temp you riding Sat or Sun or both?

Just got back from a trip out west so I can't go for more then a day. If I go to Platty should I go Saturday or Sunday? I'm thinking Saturday, but worried about wind?

The smartest thing for me is to ski Gore Sat. Then I can avoid driving in the storm.

Considering all NY options for Sunday. WF, Gore, Song, Greek, Plattekill.
