I'm skiing Pico again, I think. The last Friday powder day there was great. Southern VT may receive an inch or two more, but I feel like those slopes are hurting much more after the recent rain events.

I’m the one headed north to Gore (instead of Platty). Jason isn’t even following his own “go north” advice!
I’m sure the Cats will do ok. Heck, the more sleet that mixes in the better, help slop on some base repair.

The Platty cams do look rough.

The Hunter Weatherline regurgitates the NOAA forecast, but I always look at the forecast discussion. A warm nose will be in play. As Jason says, warm air always wins. How warm is that nose, will it lead to sleet and/or freezing rain, and what will that do to accumulations? The NOAA Roxbury forecast has more sleet and freezing rain in it than that Tannersville forecast. I don’t want to worry about any of that….especially since I’ll be driving north tomorrow night anyway.

No I’m not
I can only ski on Friday
Hoping for the best
Platt looks rough
Bell has better coverage
I won’t ski hunter out of principle

I'm heading to Telefest at Platty tomorrow, gotta convince myself I don't need to go to NTN!

If anyone is skiing whiteface let me know - I’ll be skiing alone and could link up for some turns. Was there today for “one run” (took my 2yo to kids campus for his first official lift served day) and took a run down from the gondola on Mtn run. It was...a bit scratchy lol(as expected). Hoping for a nice storm with some wetter snow to cover that up and not blow off. Friday storm skiing should be good!
