King... it looks relatively light at Snow Ridge and Woods Valley. More at Dry Hill. Buffalo Ski Club and maybe Kissing Bridge could be lined up.

Jason can you explain the "Z" clock that NWS uses. Is it Greenwich Mean Time or something else?

My only complaint... why can't NWS ALY use freakin eastern time?

Z is zulu or greenwich mean time (GMT)

12z is 7am est , 18z 1pm, 0z is 7pm etc

the models do their calculations at above time..
It's the stand time the scientific community uses.
0z is 12 midnight at Longitude 0 degs in Greenwich England..

Zulu time is 5 hours ahead of us right now - 10:47am for NYC - 3:47pm for Greenwich Mean Time or Zulu. I am not sure if this is different in the weather world.

Pattern is active with cold to our west, inch or two tomorrow, 2 to 4 on Tuesday, 4 to 8 on Friday? Active pattern with the polar vortex lurking over the Midwest
we haven't had this in a long time

I agree this seems somehow better than 2015.
