The whole mountain skied amazing today and very light crowd! We saw Patrol skiing slide 2 just after noon, and there were 4-5 tracks in Slide 1 from yesterday that came from the road above. The WF Facebook page says the slides "may" open tomorrow with avy gear required.

In my opinion ....it doesn't get any better than today ...packed powder trails ...heard Wilmington Trail got a bit bumped up later in the day but didn't ski it. Lot of cars in the parking lot early ....River parking lot filled by 8:00 ish but it didn't translate to busy lifts ....gondola looked a bit busy, depending on when you hit the summit - there seemed to be line here and there ....but most of the time, it was ski right on.
