Vail Restructure?

Have you heard that there won't be anyone at Hunter? Certainly could happen. I do remember seeing that there is a marketing position open for W-B.

Does this affect Jamie Storrs?

I was listening to a podcast interview with Jamie Storrs recently. He was with Peak Resorts for PR. Found a position with VR. He's certainly been on quite a roller coaster in the last few years. Given that he was being a spokesman for the 2020-21 reservation system, seems like he expects to stay with VR.

No I haven't, and I don't want to spread any misinformation. So apologies if that was misunderstood.

The person I know at Hunter still lists the mountain as her place of employment, so maybe she is ok.

EDIT: I spoke to my contact, she said the outcome is unknown until December.

Oof, imagine applying for your job that you just were fired from. That’s rough.

Happens more than you might think, unfortunately.

I’ve seen it happen. Never a good thing. Thankfully I’ve never had to do it myself.

Even worse is being forced to train your replacement.

My wife is starting to suspect that might be coming down the pike for her. They officially give her just enough hours so she can't get unemployment and she saw her exact job advertised with three more hours a week, so she applied for it. She's going to resist that mightily, if it comes to pass.

It's funny (ok not really funny but) I keep telling her to quit if she doesn't like it, but she can't get away from the hours flexibility she gets. She always ends up working more than the specified hours but she has the flexibility to deal with all our kid stuff and also now with Covid she REALLY likes working from home more than she thought she would.
