The Whole SKI3 Frequent Skier Card Thing

Reserving days was NOT part of season pass. Trying to buy tickets on ski3 card was apparently a royal pain in the a$$. Even buying day tix when season pass holder was not fun. The pass holder perks were the bomb. And those things were all usable ANY day you were in the mountain with your pass, at any of the three mountains, even if they were sold out. Totally worth it. Now Epic reservations, that was a bit of a show. Even now can’t get Stowe for mid-March weekend!

Understand that season pass holders apparently weren't req'd to make reservations, but the skiers using the SKI3 FSC (Frequent Skier Card) were, and obviously those with no card/pass.
Appears the reserved days was new to manage covid this season(?) -based on this thread, hope not needed next season!

Your comments led me to check the "Mountains Plus" Passholder Perks: 1 non-holiday ticket, 1 half-price non-holiday ticket, and one free rental pkg, some free off-season stuff and lots of 10% off stuff. Nice!

Perks work for M-F season passes too.
Bought some nice and warm leather mitts at Gore and last year also got a free lesson. (Twas first formal lesson ever and a fun way to chill for a bit.) It wasn’t offered as freebie perk this year. If they offer it again might take another lesson.

Definitely no free lessons this year! I would’ve loved not spending the $$$ I did on getting my daughter up to speed (also so I could go hit the summit at Gore while they kept her busy).

The free and discounted days for friends that come as a perk with a season pass did not require reservations which was much appreciated this year.

Someone asked Gore on their facebook page about when the Freq Skier card for the 21-22 season will go on sale, and this was the response: "We are in the process of developing plans for the 2021/22 season and determining the best product mix for next year. Keep an eye on our website for more information." I wonder if that means they're considering getting rid of the card.

I called the mountain and they said no black out, just load up the card whenever.

True? What do you know? If it turns out my daughter is blacked out I am in big trouble.

My partner used a free day last year during Presidents week. She's counting on using her free day on a holiday this year as well.

You will not be in big trouble, only out $80/day if the card does not work. If you load the card, skiing is $60/day weekends and peak holidays and $40 Monday-Friday non-peak.
