"Tropical Depression Henri had come to a virtual stop over the lower Hudson Valley; but now he is moving east at about 6 mph. He will continue to move across New England today and move off the Coast tonight, then move across the Gulf of Maine tomorrow. As Henri slowly moves east, he will drop another 1-3 inches, with localized higher amounts. Rain could be very heavy at times. This will continue the risk for areal and flash flooding. The outer bands over New York State and Northeastern Pennsylvania will continue to slowly slide East, as Henri continues to move back into New England. There is a chance for isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon into this evening. Some of them could be severe. There is a risk for a few tornadoes, there has already been one confirmed tornado in Massachusetts today Behind Henri we will see hot and humid conditions tomorrow into Thursday. There is an approaching cold front coming.
