What does the collective think should be on the front page during the off season? My main thing in summer is paddling my kayak but I feel like that gets repetitive. What’s missing?

Love it. Am I allowed to answer?

MTB, gravel, mountain road, roller skiing, park, fishing, hiking, hunting, paddling, sailing, camping, dirtbikes, ski car reviews (no cordoba), home construction projects.

We are always looking for help:

Peter does. He has actually written some amazing posts. I think he did a race on the WF toll road.

What about reviews or articles on cool, funky off the radar towns in upstate New York? You know, like where to stay, eat good food and the activities in the area. Any little town in the Cats, Daks or Hudson valley that has some of the activities listed already but maybe isn’t on everybody’s radar could be cool.

activities are great and an obvious component of deciding where I spend my time in but there’s a lot more to a place. I like to go somewhere where I find it fun to spend a day doing nothing other than sitting around, drinking coffee on a Main Street, talking with locals and getting drunk all afternoon. Where is it good to do that and have fun?

Good lord, people. Girls in bikinis on a beach. Like, totally.
Send Benny and snoloco on a reality tv inspired NY Ski Blog webisode where they travel around upstate New York on a quest to get the young lad laid. It could highlight how locos ski lift and ski area management passions are fueled by sexual frustrations and being slightly socially awkward. Loco can remain hopeful and vibrant being the youthful, untarnished young man he is while Benny can be that harsh dose of reality that only comes with a bit of jaded old age. Kind of an American Pie bred with (insert any generic road trip movie here).

I envision an episode with a horse, one doing summer trail maintenance, heavily frustrated milking of a cow, one with Quebec hookers and blow, one with a very sketchy redneck and something with a broken down car in the middle of no where on a lonely dirt road. Something here probably crosses over with another but whatever.......this has potential.

yeah, scratch my other post, that was dumb. This thing is the real deal.
