Lab has better tree skiing IMO. There’s enough snow but can always use more.
I don’t ski in the trees anymore so others may know what’s currently ripe for picking.
Lab’s been running Ptarmy lift on weekends. Glades are off that.
Skied Song today.
11- till 2 or so again.
Cloudy mid to low 30s to start then went to high 30s when done.
Every run open, Chopsticks and Otto’s were best.
Packed powder till 1 then it softened up.
Never made over to Jupiter but when I left there were more folks having fun on it.
Riblet double that was evacuated Sunday was spinning from when I got there till noon or so.
Nobody on it.
It was ski on most of the day and a nice day to ski.
In the gorge beside the road going up over between the valleys there were mini-avalances on the steeps.
Here’s one of the bigger ones.

The video is a bit klutzy and Heuga’s Alpine was built new and not a converted lodge.
But it is what it is and it’s nice and has a room with a view.

Nice day to play skiing in 5” of lake effect on top of the windblown 5” of earlier snow.
Even saw some flakes afterwards.
Ottos and Bali were best.
Had the center pole double spinning too.
Many smiles were observed.
Don’t usually ski weenkends but how could ya not?
