Song Conditions

Went to Song this morning and it was fun...nice spring skiing. However, the ski report online is bunk. Definitely not 24 trails open and it's a huge stretch to say that the base is 18-58". Maybe they meant centimeters? But even that might be a stretch.

Yup. The cloud over the hill kept the surface sweet.
Sun came out around 1 or so and made snow a bit stickier and heavier. Got there at the crack of 10 when they opened.
We stopped before 2.
There’s some grey spots but they peeled.
The trails without snowmaking are done without another dump.
Laps on Bali, Chopsticks and Ottos were sweet and fun.

Musk plans to land on Mars in 2029 but the UpState already has it’s own lander in the O'Tisco Valley on St. Patrick’s Day..

White ribbons of fun.
All the trails snow was made on skied well.
~30F to start @before 11 & low 40s @before 2:30 end.
Peelable corn stayed fresh. Fun day with lots of smiles.
Snow stayed nice, dry & fast. The little bit of breeze might’ve helped overbaking.
