Skiology... What's your take?

He banned anyone who pointed that out ever since he adopted the name. That tells me he was well aware of the issues using the name could create.

I had heard about the Skiology Community on FB but never bothered to check it out until this thread started because my NE skiing has basically disappeared over the last few years. Glass half full, I like the short conditions reports that people post, similar to here. Wow, between the NYSB, Alpine Zone, and Snowjournal forums, it's impressive how many people he's managed to annoy and enrage: a unique strategy to build an audience.
 
That's to be expected. He has always disliked Killington. He was furious when I correctly predicted their opening date in 2019, and then attended it. I thought they would open Sunday and he absolutely insisted that they wouldn't open till Monday. He completely ignored the trip report I posted in his group, then went the next day and posted a report from it as if it was the first day, and threatened to ban me when I called him out on it.
