I don't know. I lived up there from 04 to 08, and checked out Glens Falls. I wasn't impressed back then. Another depressed town with a downtown that got a lot of cosmetic and development money because Joe Bruno, the most powerful politician in Ny state at the time, came from there. He did a ton for Saratoga, too. Has Glens Falls improved? I was spoiled, and still spoiled. Lived right on Broadway in Saratoga. Gawd, I love that town. Unfortunately, a lot of other people do.
 
In other news, Tog’s been closed for 3 days now due to power outage. Hopefully they can ski @ Greek.

Look at the map. It’s right in the middle of NY’s good skiing at the junction of Rt 28 and 90. I don’t know much else about it other then there seems to be a lot of old farms visible from the road.

Not really close to any - over an hour to Snow Ridge
 
Yeah but Herkimer is the county seat!

I prefer to live in Warren County and make runs into Herkimer County from the east.
