NYSB Boot Fitter Directory Page Thread

Let's leave the disorganized guy out of it.
Marc Stewart is the best. He’s not disorganized, he’s just too busy.
Keith Holmquist at The Pro in Hunter is excellent too.
A lot of my friends like Gary Higley at Sports Page in Glens Falls also.

A worthy idea. It does seem to me that every 6 months, someone asks for a good boot fitter near XYZ.

Camp I can do the Google Maps.
Boot fitters and shops should probably be based on positive recommendations from known members. With the usual caveat that there is no guarantee, just a starting point for people looking for an experienced boot fitter.

If someone required that all online reviews be positive for restaurants before they go, they would never eat out.

What all two of them

Lake placid ski and board. Cori is guy to ask for.
I had a good experience there several years ago when my adult niece needed some footbeds. I'd found her some used boots that weren't the ideal fit but still far better than rental boots. She was only skiing a couple days every couple years. The $40 moldable footbeds recommended made a big difference.

As for Killington, I like Hal at Northern Ski Works and the experience I had at Basin Sports, but, I forgot the name of the guy who made my present footbed there. They all seemed to be quite competent.

@JonC what about Western NY?
