New Member Intro

Yeah ZY the Fulton Chain , the Tug , MacCauley and Snow Ridge are about 85 miles SOUTH of us .Skied that area many times both XC and Downhill over the years

Grew up in CNY . My Paternal grandparents had a camp on Otter Lake , near Old Forge for decades . Love that region. Most of our skiing is in the Dacks at several places and Laurentians and Tremblant

About 90 miles north of me. Love the area. Have camped the moose river plains and hiked a bunch out that way. Have friends in Old Forge so probably skiing up there more this year.

I'm kinda new. Been lurking for a bit. I'm originally from Southern Illinois/Missouri but we're not too far from Belleayre now.

I'm a bit of a novice skier but I make up for lack of technical skill with stupidity and recklessness.

That’s funny. I just dropped off junior’s skis this morning to get the bindings put on. I noticed the questionnaire now asks how aggressive a skier is rather then skill level. Makes sense.

Been tracking this site for a while. Happy to join and hear about other's ski adventures.

I'm a new old member ... I used to be very active in the old SkiADK forum, and was active in the NYSkiBlog forum for a few years, but I've mostly been lurking for the last several years. There were a couple of reasons for that, but not really worth discussing. In any event, I'm hoping to being more active on the forum again.

As my forum name implies, most of my skiing is done at Whiteface, and I'll do my best to provide condition reports and updates for those interested in the Face.

Glad you're back in action Face ?

New to the Forum. Have been in Wilmington area since 1960 when my folks bought a place. Weekenders from Westchester county. They drove here before 87 above Albany existed. They loved to ski and taught me to love it as well. Took over their house for many years but, built my own place about 12 years ago still in Wilmington. It’s able to fit the new generation (my children and their significant others) who also love the area and the mountain. We have all skied many places in the US and Europe and still love to come home to Whiteface. Look forward to participating!
