I'm probably going to head up tomorrow. I'll see if I can post an update on the conditions. It's snowing right now up top for the third or fourth day in a row.
After two consecutive weekends of terrible weather, we finally got a spring day with decent weather.
Superstar, Skye Hawk, and The Skye Lark to Bittersweet route were open. I ended up liking Superstar the best which developed some nice bump lines, but it was all good. I got 16 runs before it got very crowded, so I decided to call it quits and go back tomorrow for more.
Damn to be young again, we got there just before noon. 4 sup’s and about the same sky’s and I was toast. Lots of internet personas, saw @queenofthecatskills and radio Ron
You couldn't have asked for a better late spring day. Same trails as yesterday, though Skye Hawk and Skye Lark were fading fast. Superstar was not groomed and the bumps were growing by the minute. Lower crowds than Saturday as well. I did 20 runs between 8 and noon, which was about all my legs could take.
I believe Killington has two more weekends, and after that is still an open question. Superstar will also be the only trail from here on out.
