Killington Conditions

Killy used to run any lift as long as there was some fast grass. What happened?

Nothing happened, and the projected dates have always been rather fluid, in that they'll extend the season for certain lifts if there is enough snow. The only difference is that they have been very upfront about what the plan is, while in the past, they didn't tell you that a lift was closing until just before the last scheduled weekend.

In fact, they are extending operations at several lifts relative to the final Powdr years. Bear will stay open a week later than it usually does. South Ridge will stay open 2 weeks later than it was scheduled to last year, though they did add a bonus weekend last year, so it's a 1 week difference. They will also be running up to 4 lifts through May 11th, and 3 lifts thereafter.

With this snowy & cold winter K could have snow for a longer than normal time this year.

With the exception of the WWC this had all been announced at the beginning of the season. That may have been announced too and I just missed it. We typically try to end our season at Superstar/ the umbrella bar but are shooting for Sugarbush this year with the $99 bonus tix, anybody been there late season?
