Jay Peak Conditions

Looking epic up there, Jay always holding the goods. Winter ain't done just yet! Check in the trees off alligator alley if the flyer was closed yesterday should be some leftovers hanging around

Cold as a sonofa.

I can't wait to read your report! My husband and I were up there yesterday, as well. We played around in the Bonaventure glades and under the Bonnie lift line, and that was a lot of fun. At least I thought so. My husband took a good digger and jammed his thumb on lift line (it's okay, just sore), so that kinda put an end to the day for us around 2pm, but it was getting really good with all the new snow falling! I imagine conditions must be pretty awesome today.

A fun day at Jay. The low tide woods keeps you on your toes. A couple of 2” an hour snow bursts helped a lot.

A day of storm skiing really. It snowed the entire day, and really hard in the afternoon. It snowed a lot of places on Sunday, but there really felt like the day was Jay enhanced. And because of the wind, in the trees, it was deeper than the reported six inches.

There's another 4-8 called for today into tonight. If you like trees and you can go, go for it.

I will say that they do have a different definition of low tide in VT vs NY. In most places, but not all, there was a lot of base.
