ICE v Electric: Cost and Emissions

@DomB What state/utility do you live in where you do all that complicated solar credit arbitrage? I have a 35+ year old roof that needs to be replaced and starting to look into solar, though not sure it's worth it with a large tree I'd rather not cut down. I believe in Jersey you don't get any credits for over producing, but you do get a solar-rec credit of $85/MWh for the energy that you consume.
Hey - NY. The rate plan I have is no longer available according to my bro (they grandfather plans here). Psegli.

I will say when I have eyeballed NJ incentives they look generous.

The plan I have is 3 different rates. Peak (4-7 pm) pays out 4:1 compared to overnight.

I was also allowed to bulk up my size because I had an ev coming (the R1s). If I don’t change plans I should be able to carry two micro electrics (like ev3) and the riv or a model 3 and a riv.

A battery costs more but allows more arbitrage as if you program your times in it charges when cheap and discharges when expensive.

Good luck. Research important in this area. Also ask them if new plans are coming sometimes they will tell u.

Ask who if new plans are coming, PSEG?

Anything I should research specifically? I've been using EnergySage which is nice cause they give you a breakdown of the preliminary quotes at least

What did you get out of it? The model 3 is going to be cheaper to run then a Corolla.

Remember Paul Bunyan? It's coming old man even president retard can't stop it

I think they are already taxing? I can't remember the specifics.
