Hey GA. Are you aware that Roscoe Diner has a bunch of Tesla chargers? It’s a little longer to go to Belle or Platty that way but it’s a prettier ride

I think you get off a the exit before ( Exit 96) the Roscoe Diner ( Exit 94) if you are trying to get to Plattekill. I went that way once and never again. It took me an extra 30 plus minutes compared to my normal drive up the Thruway from NJ to Exit 19. The road from 17 to the Pepacton Reservoir was desolate and the road that followed the Pepacton Reservoir was a winding, potholed littered minefield. Maybe it is better now.

I've never been farther west then Margaretville, but the section between Margaretville and Belle is rough. East of Belle it's better maintained.

Oh yeah that one hill down from Belle west is a bit rough.

Rip - while I think some people drive pretty aggressively on 28, I have thought that the road is fine to Belle from 87 (though I don't love the random speed changes and related speed traps - once got pulled over doing 60 in a .1 mile transition from 55 to 45. The trooper was nice and let me go - I think he made the judgment that I was telling the truth when I thought the limit was still 55).

So you drive almost the entire length of the Pepacton Res. My head would explode if I had to do that.

Bobcat Ski Center was further west on 28. It was (is) a right turn onto Gladstone Hollow Rd just before Andes.

Love it. Good experience? I have had almost zero issues with RANs from here to the south.

I had one failed charge when the Newburgh one first opened and then was all good.
