Hometown USA: Glens Falls, NY

I'm happy to report that they have been disappearing around here. It's rare that you see one which is a very welcome change. That said, a dude 3 houses down from mine has one hanging from his clothes line --- that's no shit. Sad, very sad. :(
People get so worked up over that shit. The only thing that comes into my mind when I see a confederate flag is the general lee. I would venture to guess the numchucks that fly them have no idea the significance and the dimwits that get their panty in a bunch have no idea either.

I took two Winters off from ski bumming to bartend in South Florida. I worked in Jupiter in Palm Beach County and would go visit my Dad who retired on the other side in rural Brooksville. Two extremes of a sad creepy place. That said I’ve been back reluctantly for a free ride on my wife’s work trip. I would go check out many other places before going back

Most of our Florida time the past 20 years has been at.....Disney! Ha! Feck all y’all if you can’t comprehend that, you cretins! :p;)

I feel the same way. Heck Lynard Skynyrd would fly one at their concerts as a sign of where they were from. It wasn't until recently they stopped doing that. They said times have changed and they needed to as well.

The General Lee is a cool car (y)

Arizona is pretty dope for retirement. No bugs, humidity or ridiculous taxes. There's some good bass fishing too I hear. The southern Utah deserts and the San Juans are short drive from here too. Santa Fe, Taos not far. Global warming is gonna f it all up but most of us probably won't be here when it gets real bad.

I'd love to go bass fishing in Florida or if I were younger, maybe get into some cocaine fueled adult naughty fun in Miami or someplace dirty but I'm way too old for that now.

My big wheel when I was a kid was the General Lee one. I want to get a tattoo of that thing but I'm going to leave out the confederate flag seat that it had :D

Hey Duck, while we go house hunting, look over our tax bills and discuss the merits of moving to warm places can you tell us what work you are into? Maybe we can find you a job or at least share many opinions about one if and when you get here.

I've heard that from many people. Buddy of mine is in Boise and says the same thing. I need to get over there and see him.
I was in Boise before the Cali invasion. Nice and dry and close to the mountains
