I don't stop much but when I do I use a ski check OR I use a small lock that I have.

Yeah me either, curbs stolen equipment fast. I myself don’t worry to much about it unless of course I have new sticks. Ski more stop less BYOB

I guess this is way more common then I thought and happens everywhere. Maybe I was wrong to cite it as a Jersey problem in the other thread. To be clear, all I said was that skis got pinched in Jersey, not that all Jerseyites are criminals. There

If you lock your stuff up, no one is going to break out wire cutters and start hacking away in front of everyone..thats why these crappy little locks work..they just grab an unlocked pair. Takes 2 seconds to lock your stuff up..same as your car..lock your doors and most thieves will move on..to the car next to yours..the one with the unlocked doors.
Remember what happened to private Pyle when he didn't lock his footlocker...

My lock is the size of a silver dollar - fit's in my pocket the whole season. Small price to pay for a large price to pay.
