Gore reported 10” on FB around 8am, but not a peep on the outtage, & no update to lift status on conditions site.

Whatsa difference between heavy pow and gack Cork?

Close to a foot of heavy pow at my HQ this am, and power is out!

Oak Mtn. is closed today due to a wide outage.

Gonna get windy again too.

Once they opened it was pretty darn good. I mostly skied High Peaks all morning and took Fairview to the saddle for lunch. They're claiming a foot at the top of the gondola, but there's more on trails where the wind blew it in.

Doesn’t look like it’s too crowded for a dang big dump Sunday.
& Belle had wind holds and a couple inches so far with WF about the same. Hopefully more incoming.

Relax, yer part of the hungry folks too.
A few minutes late start to allow the worker bees to get things going safely ain’t a reason for bitchin IMO.

We laughingly describe my golf course as a "LTO / FTC" course.... Last to open... First to close ! Yep, even with all the unexpected warm weather and a zillion other courses open, they have not bothered to open early this year. Guess they knew we were going to get a trace amount of snow 50 miles from Gore. Or maybe there is another storm in our future? The 'elevation' snowstorm sure paid dividends for Gore ! Enjoy your winning ticket in the snow lottery! Unfortunately, too close to my Florida trek later this week for me. Maybe save some snow for the last week of March???? Enjoy.

Damn this was a great day! Only lines we encountered was before the lifts opened...15 minutes late...notta big deal.
They are now saying 18" on top...that may be a stretch except where it was wind loaded. 12-15 still worked for me. Thanks for a great day Cork and Todd.
