Pollution and overuse. First it was from a landfill and an IBM manufacturing plant. Now the threat is from overdevelopment.What specifically is the problem with the aquifer?

When we put the kiddy pool golf chipping course in the back yard I just shaved tee boxes and just in front of the pool to get a better chance for the bouncers to splash.Do it all the time
The longer the grass, the deeper the root. I keep mine cut high for better drought resistance…..which I guess is getting more impotent!
There’s dams on rivers closer and floods happen a lot. Not many mountains to go over.I think pumping water from the Great Lakes to out here would use a massive amount of energy, maybe so much that it doesn’t make any sense at all.
