If we don’t get a miracle March this summers fire season might make last years look trivial. It will probably still be bad even with a massive March. The ground out here is mega thirsty.Yeah, they're all shiny and new. Somebody told me that was slowed by the chopper demand to fight last year's fires, which made sense.
The drought is about to get very real.

The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation announced Friday that, over the next four months, it plans to hold back 350,000 acre-feet of water that would normally flow through Grand Canyon into Lake Mead, which is also struggling with a receding shoreline in the face of a stubborn drought.
